A great danger which confronts successful churches, be they small or large, is the temptation to become sleepy and self-satisfied. It comes on gradually and catches you unawares. Be careful! Do an honest self-assessment occasionally.

It is good for us, on occasion, to think back over our lives and give God thanks for the wise men and women he has placed in our pathway at various times. If we’re honest we will realize that the course of our lives were changed by these people! May you and I be of such character that God can use us in the same way in the lives of others!
